My Cybercafe's journey history 3

End of year 2008, I joined MOL AccessPortal Berhad and in charged one of its department "iCafe" that was his Cybercafe called Friendster iCafe at 9 floor Berjaya Times Square. Previously its called MOLiCafe, we did re-branding since July' 2010 that was after MOL bought Friendster.

For a Cybercafe business's point of view, Friendster iCafe is located in a very special place. It is very challenging because it was facing many limitation, in term of pushing the sales.

What is the LIMITATION ? Why i am willing to take it ? How am i doing ? How could i solve the problems ?

TO BE CONTINUES.........

My Cybercafe's journey history 2

My Fantastic Memorise, From its Franchise's outlet expansion began; from 3 outlets until one of largest Cybercafe group in Malaysia, I spend 4 years in IMAX Cybercafe Group to make the goal real.

IMAX is wonderful opportunity for me to drive my proven record of multi-branches business development (knowledges and skills), to develop and expand the business with zero example.

When I was joining IMAX, it just started to launch its franchise program. I designed the system for whole program, that was included the franchised proposal, marketing strategies, daily operation, event organization, HR recruitment & training and Top management.

I almost travelled around the branches every week, to make sure everything under control and in progress. Meeting and discussion with the existing Franchisee and approached the potential Franchisee.

After a potential Franchisee confirmed the program, some procedures had start on and decided :
1. Location
2. Investment payment plan
3. Licences
4. Renovation
5. Computers hardware and software
6. Staffs recruitment
7. Marketing preparation
8. Event planning
9. Documentation ready
10. date of Open day

After Launching / Open day, I had to make sure the business fine :
1. Staff's discipline, job scope, job responsibility, knowledges and skills
2. Daily operation, documents flow, reporting
3. Cash control and monthly expenses management
4. Weekly meeting and problem solving
5. Sport checking and appointment meeting with the head of branch
6. Marketing survey and long term planning
7. Sales monitoring and analyst
8. Event planning and organising
9. Staff Counselling and motivation
10. Result oriented, fulfil KPI and SOP, Goals setting.

I felt so happy to handle the jobs and responsibilities, this 4 years was so exciting and challenging. I got a lot of fantastic experiences here because the problems made me growth. even thought zero example for me to follow in this industry, but finally to prove my designed system is work even until today.
